
1st Biennial Conference of BPIPASA Bihar Circle Held at Postal Training Centre, Darbhanga
The 1st Biennial Conference of the Bharatiya Postal Inspectors & Assistant Superintendents Association (BPIPASA), Bihar Circle, was successfully organized on 14th September 2025 at the historic campus of the Postal Training Centre (PTC), Darbhanga, Bihar. The event marked a significant milestone in the association’s journey, bringing together officers and dignitaries dedicated to strengthening the postal administration and enhancing its service delivery framework.
Distinguished Presence and Dignitaries
The conference was graced by the Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) from Darbhanga Constituency, Shri Gopal Ji Thakur, as the Chief Guest, whose presence added great value and encouragement to the gathering.
The event also witnessed the esteemed presence of Shri Pawan Kumar Singh, Postmaster General (North Region), Muzaffarpur, who joined as the Special Guest and shared his valuable insights with the members of the association.
Key Discussions and Departmental Issues
During the conference, members held constructive discussions on several important matters affecting the postal workforce across the Bihar Circle.
Some of the key issues deliberated included:
- Anomalies in the sanctioning of TA (Travel Allowance) bills across various divisions within the circle.
- Provision of inspection vehicles for Inspectors (IPs) and Assistant Superintendents (ASPs) to improve operational efficiency and on-ground inspections.
The forum served as a platform to address these challenges collectively, aiming for greater transparency and administrative uniformity across all divisions.
Assurances and Vision for the Future
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Shri Gopal Ji Thakur assured members that the policy-level concerns raised during the conference would be brought to the attention of the Government of India for necessary action.
Special Guest Shri Pawan Kumar Singh, Postmaster General (North Region), emphasized the crucial role of the postal department in realizing the vision of “Viksit Bharat”, aligning with the Government’s mission to create an efficient, modern, and people-centric postal system.
General Secretary Shri Vikram Singh reaffirmed BPIPASA’s commitment to take up all raised issues at the appropriate administrative levels, ensuring that the voices of Inspectors and Assistant Superintendents are represented effectively.
Election of the New Executive Body
As part of the conference proceedings, elections for the new executive body of BPIPASA Bihar Circle were held for the upcoming term.
The newly elected team members are:
- Shri Rejnish Kumar – President
- Shri Mrityunjay Kumar – Secretary
- Shri Umang Jain – Treasurer
The association congratulated the newly elected office bearers and expressed confidence that their leadership will strengthen organizational unity and drive meaningful progress for the members and the postal department as a whole.
